Bunte and Focus

Burda's first major success was with the magazine Bunte, which he edited from 1974 to 1986. Under his leadership, Bunte became one of Germany's most popular weekly magazines, known for its coverage of celebrity news and fashion. Burda also founded the news magazine Focus in 1993, which has become one of the leading weekly news magazines in Germany.
